Negative people try to bring you to their level. The less you go with them the more peaceful your life will be.
I’m trying this at the moment, someone made a very hurtful negative comment about me, my illness and my son who has additional needs and I have to see her everyday and I still politely smile because I have no need to reduce myself to her level, keep smiling everyone. ~ Lacey Nelson

If I were doing my job properly and to the best of my ability I would speak to my supervisor about the person sabotaging my job, but I would still be positive and smiling in front of them, especially under these circumstances, I would not let on that they were getting to me. ~ Dee Machart
