When you broke someone’s trust

When you broke someone's trust

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Trust is build piece by piece. If one piece is missing it won’t hold.

You can say you’re sorry, regret doing it, but things are never the same. ~ Shelley Finnen

Trust is earned not given, broken and never restored.

It’s like hurting people with words. If each mean thing we said was a nail hammered into a fence, and the each apology was pulling the nails back out, the holes still remain.

Most people who continue to break trusts and lie have deep seated. Long standing emotional/mental issues left “untreated” for years: some just do it because someone allows them to and they know they are doing wrong. ~ Joy Vining

Trust is the glue to any relationship. Once broken, as they say, “ain’t no turning back”. Life is much too short. Suck it up, and move on. “Lie to me once, shame on you. Lie to me twice, shame on me”. ~ E S Equine

Trust is like a crystal vase. Once broken, you may be able to glue it back together, but it will never be the same, and may or may not hold water. ~ Michelle Wetherell
