It’s called parenting, people. That seems to be missing these days.
I know someone personally who was brought up to never accept anything less than being #1 and better than everyone else. This is a very bright and hard working individual, who has lost two jobs because he cannot accept compromise and has not learned the tact of choosing your battles on the job and in life. Now he loathes the person who instilled these values in him; his own mother. Sad but true. Knowing the value of self worth is far better than knowing the value of net worth. ~ Mare Zorio
